American holidays. Besides you will watch the video about Thanksgiving Day.

Why do people celebrate special days with their families? There are some
reasons in ex. 51 on p. 105. Work in groups of three and discuss these reasons.
Agree on the five most important reasons, write them down. Then report them to
class. (We have decided that people celebrate special days with their families
— Are you a friendly family? Do you celebrate
any holidays together? Do you think it is a good tradition? What do you usually
do during the parties? What presents do you give to each other? What was the
most enjoyable present given to you?
— As you know, every holiday has its special
attributes. Look at the pictures in ex. 52, p. 105.1 would like you to read the
PI, P2, P3.
— Now make up as many expressions as you can. Say them in turn.
