Fear is a terrible thing.
If I ask you what you are afraid of, everyone will answer something
different: lions or tigers, mice or ghosts, heights, murderers, or some
wild animal. Fear can take many forms. Most of the time, we are only
slightly frightened, not terrified.
There are different kinds of
"fears": a girl who finds a big ugly spider in the bath; a biology
lesson at school where the pupils have to cut up a worm; a rich man
afraid of his money; a family who see their father crashes in a plane,
an old lady who is afraid of being forgotten by her children. Sometimes
we are afraid of loneliness, old age, betrayal. We just need not let
fears fill in our life and remember that they are just in our minds. As
for me, I fear about my future.
