T.:Sit down,please.What date is it today?What day of week is it today?What`s the weather like?Who is absent?
T.:Today we will read a poem,learn new words,describe pictures and play a game.
T.:Listen to the poem and say where the cat is.
Where`s the cat?
Under the hat.
On the chair.
Where`s the cat?
In the box.
T.:Let`s read the poem all together.
Some students read the poem.
3.Presentation of prepositions.
a)T.:Look at the blackboard.Listen to me and repeat after me.
Teacher puts the pictures on the blackboard and says:
The cat is on the ball.
The cat is under the ball.
The cat is behind the ball.
The cat is above the ball.
The cat is between the balls.
The cat is in the middle of the table.
The cat is on the left of the table.
The cat is on the right of the table.
The cat is in front of the table.(Приложение 2)
b)Teacher shows the pictures and asks:Where is the cat?
Teacher gives students sheets of paper with two pictures of the same
room and with sentences without prepositions.(Приложение 1)
Task 1.Write in the correct prepositions:on,in,under,behind,between,in front of.
The first picture”Tom`s room in the morning.”Students do with a teacher.
The second picture”Tom`s room in the evening.”Students do without teacher.
Task 2.Describe the differences between the two pictures.
a)T.:Let`s play.Look at my desk.You can see two baskets and a ball.Answer the question:Where is the ball?
Teacher puts the ball in the basket,under the basket,between the baskets,etc.
b)T.:Oleg,go to the blackboard.Put the ball on the left of the basket.etc.
c)T.:Look around.Where is the door of our classroom? (shelf,blackboard,poster,bookcase,window,picture,clock)
