is over. Summer holidays start. The children are talking about summer holidays.
1) What city do they live in?
Al: I always stay in Britain in
summer. There is a lot of fun in summer. I can a lot of things to do. I often
go to the stadium, to the beach or to the parks. My house is near Regent’s
Park. I spend a lot of time there. I enjoy watching ducks and animals, riding
horses, playing different games or sitting on the green grass.
Tom: Last summer my parents
and I lived in the mountains near the lake. We often went fishing. My father
taught me to swim and now I can swim very well. The weather was hot and sunny. The
water in the lake was warm. We had a good time there.
Jane: Next summer I’ll spend
my holidays in the country near the forest. We often live there in summer. My
mother and I will go to the forest to pick up mushrooms and berries. We’ll listen
to the birds’ singing and watch them. I shall ride a bike and play with my
friends. In the evening I’ll help my Granny to water flowers in her garden.
