a highly subjective one. Ask 100 different people "What is jazz?" and
you're likely to get 100 different answers. But personally I think that
jazz is American classical music. |

People reflect their lives in art. Real, live art appeals
to the heart
and mind of every person, to their feelings and ideals, it proclaims
life. Art is truthful only when it serves life, only when the artist
hopes to arouse a warm response in the heart of a person. |

English people like animals very much. Pets: dogs,
cats,
horses, ducks, canaries, chickens and other friends of men have a
much better life in Britain, than anywhere else. |
For some people there is nothing as exciting as
traveling, and I’m not
an exception. And I’m happy that I have traveled a lot and I hope that
my first journey wasn’t the last one. |
People use various means of communication
to get from one place to
another. In the old days people had to travel several days, weeks and
months to get to the place they needed. |
When we cook, we boil, roast, fry or stew our food. We

to make it salted, sweet, sour or simply tasty. |
Many men, many
minds. All people are different and they

Dystopia is a recently coined word to
describe negative utopias, and can
be taken literally to mean 'bad place'. In the 20th century dystopian
fiction dominates utopian fiction. There was a generally skeptical or
pessimistic view about science and technology among 20th century
writers. |
"Library is a temple of books”, -- somebody said. And I
fully agree
with these wise words. Every person in our country more than 14 years
old, I’m sure, at least once visited a library. The majority of young
people has subscriptions to the libraries they like. The libraries not
only give us a vast choice of books, but also offer excellent
opportunities of having rest. |
